she's crafty!

look what i did today!  my work jeans were starting to get a hole in the knee and i'm too poor to buy more jeans right now so i patched 'em up with a nice heart.

i like doing this hand stitching type stuff but i can't wait to get a sewing machine to do some bigger projects like curtains and alterations.  weeeee

RIP Kirby Puckett

damn, i woke up today to found out my probably one and only baseball hero is dead! Goodbye Kirby.  growing up in the 80's in the twin cities, one couldn't help but fall in love with kirby.  i watched a lot of baseball and i guess you could say i was fairly into baseball.  we'd go to a lot of games with family and friends, it was something we could actually afford since they always had cheap seat tickets.  man, i loved that guy as a player.  only later when some not so flattering news came out did i realize that he's just a human like all others and falliable.  but man, as a kid, kirby was close to god in my eyes.  RIP man. 

monday monday

so we met again for the movie today.  we film in two weeks.  i'm so excited for this.  i can't wait.  it's going to be a lot of work but also a lot of fun.  i already know most of the crew so that helps.  and i've got a good friend as the director of photography.  i'm happy i'll have someone there i trust and can ask stupid questions. 

i've become a bit addicted to myspace.  H Money  check it out, add me if you are on myspace!

we are sober again.  yay for us.  i'm paying off a credit card in the next two months which i'm happy about.  we also owe taxes which i'm not happy about and will not be able to pay on time.  but i'm not worried about that.  i'm still working and paying the gov't taxes so they can kiss my ass.  i'll file of course but just pay 'em back when i can.  sigh.  have i mentioned how much i hate finances???  one day i'll beat those pesky finances. 

i quit smoking a few weeks ago! double yay for me.  no smoking allowed in the house anymore.  it was easy.  greg's cut way down but hasn't quit completely.  i think he will soon though.
