greg's cooking us up some delicious dinner right now; steak, baby red potatoes and zucchini. my mouth is watering. what a great way to end a long day working around the house!

nesting!
We've begun nesting! it all started last week with a trip to Ikea and Target. i set up the dresser last week and started organizing the bedroom. i forgot how nice it is to actually have a dresser. it's been about 12 yrs since i've owned one!
today, we did major cleaning in the bedroom and living room. i put together our new computer desk and got my sewing station set up using the old computer desk. we finally got the bedroom floor cleared off of clothes (we donated them to the sidewalk!) we vacuumed both rooms with our fancy new dirt devil vacuum. also, we hung some art up in the bedroom. i also organized the baby's clothes. she's got SO much stuff already! next week, i'll wash all her newborn stuff and put it away in her dresser. i just love how our house is all coming together! i feel much better about bringing the baby home now.
we've just got a bit more stuff to take care of before she arrives...

canvases and paints for bedroom art
and i'm sure i'll think of a million more things as her arrival gets closer! only 9 weeks to go!
