damnit! i just discovered beck is a scientoligist!! what a crock of shit.  well, i guess i won't be buying his new cd.  what a disappointment, he seems like he'd be so above joining a cult.

yay me! i finished writing out my thank you cards!  yayayaya.  i really suck at getting thank you cards done in a timely fashion.  my wedding thankyous went out about 11 months after our wedding date!!!!  this time i was determined to get them done before the baby arrives cuz i knew i'd just keep putting them off if i waited.

in other news, well, there is no other news! still waiting!  i've put on another 2 lbs.  the due date is 5 days away.  i'd love for LS to come NOW but am trying to maintain some patience.  i figure i can get anxious after we pass the due date!  pretty much everything around house is ready.  of course, there's the maintance of life, like laundry and dishes to keep up with but besides that, i feel the place is ready to welcome LS. 

in non baby news, greg bought the new Melvins cd and i listened to it today.  it's awesome!  the show is going to be great but too bad i will miss it.  greg will go though.  the baby will be too new for me to feel comfortable leaving her with anyone.  oh well, i'll catch the Melvins next time around!

so a few months ago, my grandparents drove up here from san diego to see us and to drop off a sewing machine for me.  today, i went nuts and finally sewed up some curtains for our bedroom.  i'm so damn proud of myself!!  i used two flat sheets i bought at ross for cheap to make them.

i think the bedroom is looking really great!  my next task is to make covers for that space under the window built-in to hide all the crap we store there.  i'm kind of feeling like doing that right now with the left over sheet material.  hmmm

okay baby, we are so ready for you!

 

37 weeks along!

okay, we are in the home stretch now!  hospital tour; check.  bag packed; check.  crib set up; check.  diapers bought; check.  baby; waiting!  so far i've gained 47 lbs!!  my last day of work was sunday oct 1.  i've got laundry and a target trip to do then i am ready ready ready for this baby to come into the world!

i think i look pretty damn good for being 9 months pregnant! :)

also, the baby shower was last week and it was a BLAST!  It was so much fun and a lot of people showed up.  we have made so many great friends in the three years since we've been here.  yesterday was our three year anniversary of our arrival in San Francisco.  life is good!
