finally, an update!

well, we did it!  we had our little baby girl!!!!!  we are doing great now.  me and the babe have a good schedule going.  it's not set in stone but it's fairly predictable.  she does a good job of sleeping for around 4 hours at night at a time and after a quick feeding, goes right back to sleep so i do manage to feel good and rested most nights.  she has fussy times but nothing too insane, she's not colicky, thank god (knocks on wood!)   our next challenge will be to introduce a bottle so when i do go back to work she won't decide to go on a hunger strike and freak us out!  i got myself a nice expensive breast pump and will be pumping this week and trying out the bottle.  wish us luck that she will switch back and forth between bottle and breast! 

greg's mom has been here and back home already.  it was a nice visit! she is so in love with LS.  my mom arrives today!  i'm so excited to see my momma, it's been over a year since i saw her last.

i'm managing to keep the house in fairly decent condition.  the stupid laundry does pile up but i can take LS with me to brainwash and get it done.  it is harder with her but it can be done. 

we are moving in like a week!  i haven't done any packing at all and i think i'm procrastinating because i can't believe we are going to tackle moving with a month old baby!!!!  are we insane???  yes but the apt is just too good of a deal to pass up.  this place is a place where we can live 'til we move out of san francisco.  we can even have another kid and have enough room for us all!  we will definitely be pinching our pennies and not have much leftover money after rent and bills but we can do it.  i'll be getting a raise when i go back to work and i just know it will all work out.  we've both always struggled financially but have always managed to make it work.
