tomorrow morning we leave for minneapolis.  i just checked weather.com and it's going to be pretty damn cold all week.  good thing we are planning on mostly just hanging out at my parents place.  i'm thinking i'll have people come to us haha. 

i'm so so so excited to see my family and friends.  i can't wait to hug everyone and of course show off my beautiful baby.  my dad is taking the week off so we'll get to hang out plenty!  i have a feeling my sis and nephew will be over at my parents all week too.  i guess my nephew can hardly contain himself!  he's 3 and can't wait to meet his little cousin.  we bought him two books (Maybelle the Cable Car and Humphrey the Lost Whale), a coloring book full of San Francisco sights and a deck of go fish cards (so far.)  i might see if walgreen's has any sort of kid friendly cable car since i'm making one last run there before we leave. 

i managed to get all of our stuff packed into two checked bags, one carry on, the diaper bag and a purse.  amazing!  (okay not everything is completely packed yet, still need to do some laundry but it's gonna fit i swear!! errr hope!)  we have a three hour layover so i don't want to have a ton of crap to lug around the airport since we'll have the stroller/carseat with us. 

okay i'm boring myself now, time to get a move on!

New Tattoo!

yay!  i got new ink.  it's been many many years since i've been tattoo'd and i'm so excited to finally have a new tat!   i got it done yesterday.  Nick from Black Heart Tattoo  did the work.  He did Greg's in Nov and we were just waiting until we had enough extra money for me to get mine done.  so here it is:

we love that they are the same but different. 

now i want to get going on my tat for my mom and dad.  i  know what i want done i just need to meet with Nick and get it skectched out.  and ya know, save up some money for it!
