Okay the big news is we decided to move back to Minnesota in October of 2008. I'm just so freaking excited! We need the year to save up money to pay for a uhaul and the new place in Minnesota. We will be looking for a house to rent in the Mound area (and westward.). I know, I know, I can't believe I'm actually moving back to Mound either but it makes the most sense. My parents are in the area as is my sister and her family. I want to be close to them. Also, Mound is not such a bad place to raise kids. Close to the big city but far enough out to have a big-ish yard and room to run. I will transfer to the Trader Joe's out there, there are two to choose from so that is very helpful and stressless since I won't have any Oh-my-god-I-need-to-find-a-job-like-right-now! panic and our insurance will not lapse. The best part of the transfer is that I'll make the same wage there as I make here and holy fuck will that wage go so much further in MN than it does here. From the places I've seen for rent now, one of my paychecks will pretty much cover rent in MN. Here, it's 2 of my paychecks plus to cover rent.
Our big goal then will be to buy a house in two or three years. And then I'll go back to school to get my RN. Or I'll do the RN first. We'll see. Also, I'd like to have another baby sometime in that time frame. haha, as I said, we'll see how it all works out.
In other news, Greg was really sick this week and now the baby is sick. I'm trying very hard to NOT get sick. hah.
